We of course enjoyed our breakfast for dinner night and included homemade hash brown potatoes. This one is fun and easy and the kids loved it! Though we did have to separate the eggs and French toast.
FRENCH TOAST INGREDIENTS
4 Eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 8 slices brioche bread, but you can substitute challah or white bread EGG INGREDIENTS 8 large eggs
1 lb of ground sausage or other breakfast meat
1/4 cup of milk
cajun seasoning...(really any seasoning you like) to taste
ground cumin to taste
(you can also add cheese if you like)
HASH BROWN INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lbs. russet potatoes (about 3 medium), peeled or unpeeled and scrubbed clean
1/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
1/4 cup shredded white onion
1/4 cub shredded bell pepper
Ground Cumin to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
